Have you trawled through Google to find lists of the most popular first dance songs but found you’re still finding it really difficult to pinpoint that special tune? If so, don’t worry – there are many more options than the tried and tested favourites which always appear in these lists!
Don’t get us wrong – those songs appear on these lists for a reason. They are all amazing and we cover a significant number of them in our wedding ceremony / breakfast / cocktail reception set. You can find more popular first dance choices in our guide though there are many more to consider, especially if you want to be a little different from the norm! We recently recorded a few songs to share via social media over the coming months and one which really stood out was Ed Sheeran’s ‘Shivers’. We chose this one to share first as it’s recent, it’s a great song and we really do think it would make a great first dance choice, especially when you listen closely to some of the lyrics:

We think they’re fantastic lyrics for a first dance! A little different but absolutely the right sentiments for the moment.
